‘Survivor’ Season 47: Who went home first? See who was voted out in the premiere episode

The premiere of “Survivor” Season 47 finally brought a lot of drama and fun as 18 new contestants landed on the amazing beaches of Fiji. However, the opening challenge tested the castaways in a grueling muddy challenge involving heavy puzzle pieces that touched on a key feature of the game.

Tribe Dynamics and Opening Challenges

Social Media Contestants were divided into three new tribes: Tuku, Lavo, and Gata with the Gata Tribe winning the first challenge securing them essential camp life. But as the rounds went on, we saw seismic changes occurring within the tribes. Players started to form classic “Survivor” alliances and paranoia played out, with a few contestants even finding “beware advantages” that could have changed the course of the entire game.

Elimination

After a hard-fought immunity round, the Gata tribe in the yellow buffs, consisting of Sierra Wright, Anika Dhar, Jon Lovett, Abi Rueda, and Sam Phalen, found themselves in a bind. Despite Rueda needing medical attention, the tribe didn’t think twice about voting Jon Lovett out in the end. Ultimately, the former Barack Obama speechwriter and Pod Save America co-host’s downfall was attributed to his weaknesses in both the physical and strategic parts of the game.
